If you are tired of looking at your same old E20 endpoint screen every day, you can add a screen saver!
To start, you will need a USB flash drive with the pictures you would like to see on your screen saver. The pictures will be displayed one picture at a time if you have multiple files.
A few things you need to know:
- After the USB flash drive is plugged in, you will be prompted to select if the pictures on the drive should be displayed by the USB picture frame and the time interval for the screen saver to begin.
- The USB drive cannot be removed.
- The formats supported as of TE4.0 are *.jpg, *.png, and *.gif.
Avoid conflict with the standby function!
The E20 has a standby feature that darkens the screen and overwrites the screen saver. If you set the standby feature to a shorter time than the screen saver feature, the screen saver will never begin. Disable the standby feature to continuously display only the screen saver. You can use both the screen saver and standby feature by setting the standby feature to a longer time than the screen saver. The screen saver will run first at the designated start time, then the standby feature will begin at the designated start time.
